Connect Your Domain

Open Name Cheap in one tab and keep your Website Open in another Tab 

On your website page, click the gear icon

• Click Custom Domains 

• Click Start Set Up 

• Enter your Domain name 

• Click verify your ownership 

• Click Continue 

• Copy the code it gives 

In Name Cheap 

• Click manage next to your domain on the right 

• Click Advanced DNS 

• Under Host Records complete the following: 

  • Type: TXT

  • Host: @ 

  • Value: Paste what you copied from Google 

  • TTL: Automatic 

  • Click the green check 

Go back to the Google Verification Page and click verify 

Once verified, we will go back to google site, go through connecting the domain again and it will give directions to add another record in name cheap.  

• Under Host Records complete the following: 

  • Type: CNAME

  • Host: www

  • Value: ghs.googlehosted.com.

  • TTL: Automatic 

  • Click the green check 

Go back to Google and Move forward. 

Your Domain is connected!
